What's Included

  • A nose-to-tail physical exam, including eyes, ears, teeth, heart, lungs, skin, and coat
  • Vaccinations tailored to your pet's age and lifestyle
  • Heartworm, flea, and tick prevention recommendations
  • Yearly bloodwork recommendations
  • Diet, weight, and behavior discussions
  • Time to ask any questions you have about your pet's health

How Often Should My Pet Come In?

Most pets benefit from a wellness exam at least once a year. Puppies, kittens, and senior pets may need to be seen more often. We'll help you set a schedule that's right for your pet.

Puppy exams: 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 weeks of age

Kitten exams: 7, 10, and 14 weeks of age

Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention

Keeping your pet up to date on parasite prevention is one of the easiest ways to protect their health. Here on the Gulf Coast, fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are active nearly year-round.

  • Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes and can cause serious damage to the heart and lungs. Preventing it is far safer and less expensive than treating it.
  • Ticks can carry diseases such as Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis.
  • Fleas cause itching, skin infections, and allergies, can transmit tapeworms, and quickly spread to your home.
  • Staying consistent means no gaps in coverage, so your pet stays protected all year long.

A full year of protection with two shots: We offer Bravecto Quantum for fleas and ticks and ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. Each is a single injection that keeps your dog covered for a full year, so you never have to remember monthly pills.

Yearly Bloodwork

We recommend bloodwork at least once a year along with your pet's wellness exam. Pets can't tell us when something is wrong, and many illnesses don't show outward signs until they are advanced.

  • Sets a baseline: Bloodwork done while your pet is healthy shows what is normal for them. If they ever get sick, we can compare against those results and spot changes sooner
  • Catches problems early: Finds disease before symptoms appear, when it is often easier and less costly to treat
  • Checks organ health: Monitors how well the kidneys and liver are working
  • Screens for common conditions: Helps detect diabetes, thyroid disease, anemia, and infection
  • Supports senior pets: As pets age, the risk of disease rises and regular bloodwork becomes even more important

Many tests can be run in-house, so results are often ready while you wait. Learn more about our bloodwork and lab testing →
